Android is an operating system for mobile devices. Each Android version is named after a sweet, starting with letter

C (Cupcake version, delivered in April 2009), followed by Donut, Eclair, FroYo and Gingerbread, up to letter H (Honeycomb version, delivered in February 2011). Next versions could be named Ice Cream and Jelly Bean.
